The Parents’ Campaign is an important component of The Wake Forest Fund, the University’s annual campaign for unrestricted support. Your gift to the Parents’ Campaign helps provide large university opportunities in a small college setting and an environment rich in academic and social offerings.
Tuition simply does not cover the cost of running a university. It goes a long way, but additional resources are needed. Without the generous support of current and past parents – along with alumni and friends of the University — tuition would have to be considerably higher than it currently is to maintain the Wake Forest experience.
Parents give from $10 to $100,000; participation at every level is appreciated. Whether large or small, your gift will be joined with the gifts of other parents, and it is the aggregate of all gifts from parents that has the greatest impact. When foundations and corporations consider grant applications, they frequently ask us about the percentage of participation in giving from Wake Forest alumni, parents, and friends. It strengthens our case when those closest to the University support it. Your participation — at any level — serves as a catalyst for larger gifts and grants.
